NFDC\u2019s Mohan Agashe and Aadinath Kothare Starrer Malayalam Film \u2018Achappa\u2019s Album\u2019 to Release Theatrically on 24 April<\/p>\n
National Film Development Corporation Limited (NFDC) today announced the theatrical release of its Malayalam film Achappa\u2019s Album on 24 April.<\/p>\n
Directed by Deepti Pillay Sivan and written by Sanjeev Sivan along with Anirban Bhattacharya and Umesh Nair, the film stars Mohan Agashe and Aadinath Kothare in key roles.<\/p>\n
Achappa\u2019s Album explores family relationships and intergenerational dynamics, blending a rooted, slice-of-life narrative with touches of fantasy.<\/p>\n
Prakash Magdum, Managing Director, NFDC, said that the film reflects the Corporation\u2019s continued commitment to promoting meaningful and diverse storytelling while nurturing unique voices in Indian cinema. \u201cWhat stood out to us in Achappa\u2019s Album is how it uses a very simple premise to open up deeper emotional truths. It\u2019s the kind of film that doesn\u2019t rely on scale, but on sensitivity, something we believe audiences are increasingly connecting with across languages.\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Sharing her thoughts, director Deepti Pillay Sivan said, \u201cthe film explores relationships through a simple yet engaging time-travel narrative\u201d and acknowledged NFDC\u2019s support in bringing the story to life.\u201c<\/p>\n
The cast also includes Anjana Appukuttan, Priyanka Nair, and Sidhanshu Sanjeev Sivan.<\/p>\n
The technical team includes cinematography by Manoj Pillai, editing by Sreekar Prasad, and music composed by Gulraj Singh.<\/p>\n
