Ohh My Dog Should Be Shown In Every School and Should Be Made Tax-Free

Ahead of its theatrical release on 7th August, Ohh My Dog hosted a special screening in New Delhi that was attended by animal rights activist and former Union Minister Maneka Gandhi. The screening was also attended by the film’s director and producer Amit Rai, along with actors Rajesh Kumar and Pawan Malhotra.

Maneka Gandhi lauded the film for its sensitive and heartfelt portrayal of the relationship between humans and dogs, appreciating its message of kindness, compassion, and empathy.

“The film is very good, one of the best films I have seen. The story has been told sensitively. It should be shown in every school and should be made tax free.” She said.

Speaking at the screening, the team behind Ohh My Dog shared that the film goes beyond being an entertaining family drama and aims to inspire audiences to embrace values of love, care, and compassion. They emphasised that the film is a tribute to the extraordinary bond between humans and dogs, while highlighting the importance of empathy in everyday life.

Director Amit Rai said, “Despite the heavy rains in Delhi, Maneka ji came to watch the film, and her words of appreciation are truly encouraging for our entire team. We made Ohh My Dog with a heartfelt message of kindness and compassion, and I hope audiences take those emotions home with them after watching the film.”

The special screening comes on the heels of the overwhelmingly positive response to the film’s trailer, which has been widely appreciated for its emotional storytelling, heartfelt narrative, and meaningful message. As the countdown to release begins, the makers have been actively engaging with audiences across multiple cities through an extensive promotional campaign.
